My Story
I am a teacher, a mother to 6, and the counterpart to my number one. My life is busy, and sometimes chaotic but I've come to find the perfect balance by letting it all go through my designs.
The beginning of my spiritual journey began with creating art. I love creating art, especially painting. There's just something therapeutic about brushing bold colours of acrylic paint onto canvas. It's been my outlet when I'm emotional and I need to ground myself. It's my go to when I want to capture whatever it is I'm feeling. I can pick up a brush and get lost in the moment, then before I know it most of the day has slipped past me.
The second part to my spiritual journey is my practice of crystal healing. Crystal healing has brought to me a sense of purpose. Through crystals I learned to become better attuned to myself - my feelings, my intuition, how others and my environment affect me. It has better aligned me spiritually with my husband and helped me build a special relationship with my children, especially my youngest child. I started taking more deliberate time for myself - reading up on individual crystals, journalling about the new crystals I would acquire from them calling to me, consecrating and programming new additions to my collection. This new journey opened up a new world for me, seeing new people and having new experiences in the same old space I have always been it. Everything and everyone looked different now. My intuition and sensitivity began to open up. I could see auras and feel cold spots. I could finally
understand my emotions also included feeling the joys and pains of the people around me. A lot of things about myself started to make sense. My spirituality has now opened me up to sharing my love of crystal healing to others and helpings others find and realign themselves to their present soul path.
The most recent addition in my life is new found love of creating edible art. I. Love. Cake. I love the smell it makes in my kitchen. I love creating new flavour combinations. I love the endless possibilities of design. I love the smile it brings to my children's faces. I love how people tell me that my cakes damn good. Cakes have shown me a new way to express my love for art and design.
I believe anyone can create designs. Art, crystals and cake are how I create mine. My designs are to bring to you a feeling of calm and inspiration to your space. I hope you find what you're looking for here. Namaste.
